Mark Colvin, CFP®, BFA™, CLU®, ChFC®, has practiced as a financial advisor for 25 years, growing his practice to $1.5M in GDC with two AFAs and five team members. As a National Consultant Trainer for Oakridge Training Center, he applied new technology to automate and systematize his practice, leading to his success.

Mark has developed technology strategies for practices ranging from solo practitioners to ensembles to small and large teams. He believes technology should be applied to solve individual practice needs, not used just because it’s new and exciting.

Who is D2 Technology Coaching for?

The technology coaching group is for anyone who deals with technology in your practice. This could be an advisor or an operations or marketing team member – anyone who deals with Box, Salesforce, E-meeting, etc.

What does the program include?

The D2 Technology Group Coaching program includes 12 monthly group webinars led by Mark Colvin, each focusing on a specific aspect of the technology process in your office. You’ll also have access to replays of each webinar. Every participant will also take a Technology Assessment at the beginning of the program to determine where they need to focus. Tools and templates will also be available throughout the program. 1:1 technology coaching will be available at an additional cost.

Is this a training program for beginners?

No. This group assumes you have a basic level of understanding of the technology your office uses. It is NOT an introductory, step-by-step guide on how to use each program. Mark is a consultant and trouble-shooter who will teach you more about the functionality of each program and will consult with you about best practices.

What if we need specific training information?

Ameriprise has many specific, step-by-step training videos on exactly how to set up the technology programs and structures in your practice. We’ll point you to those videos for specific questions. The role of the group coaching is to improve your workflows to make you more efficient and effective.

Can I go deeper than the group format allows?

We also have 1:1 coaching sessions available where Mark can work directly with you to improve your technology process. Contact us at D2@dynamicdirections-d2.com to learn more about this add-on.

We’ll hold one webinar each month – you can join anytime. Once you register, you’ll receive Teams invitations to each webinar.
