He is a former award-winning financial advisor who consistently ranked in the top 1.5% of financial advisors at Ameriprise while working one week per month with a small client base. Travis is the co-founder, Vice President, and a partner with Align Wealth Management, a private wealth advisory firm with Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC (A Barron’s Top 1200 and Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor practice) with locations in Owensboro, KY, Brentwood, TN, Columbia, TN, Louisville, KY, Harrisburg, IL, and Marion, IL.
Travis is also the author of two books, The 3 CEOs: The Three Most Important Roles Entrepreneurial Financial Advisors Play and Turbo Growth; Proven Strategies to Create an Extraordinary Life and Financial Planning Practice.
Travis is a co-founder of Inner Circle Entrepreneur with Dr. Zach Gerbarg to help business owners and top executives master the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
In 2018, Travis and his wife Christy, joined forces with Jason Tanner, founder of the Emmy award-winning advertising agency, Tanner+West to create the Owensboro Times, a daily, online local news source. He is also a professional country music songwriter and co-founder and President of Ace High Music, a publishing company and record label in Nashville, TN.
Travis’ prior community involvement consists of serving as a Board of Trustee member for his alma mater, Kentucky Wesleyan College, past president of Theater Workshop of Owensboro and past board member of RiverPark Center. In 2013, Travis co-founded a new youth football league for the Owensboro area – Kids Football League. Travis and his wife Christy have three children – Ryland, Lucy and Stone – and one special Frenchie, Vivi. Travis enjoys being with his children, reading, working out, playing guitar, songwriting, creative writing, supporting his wife’s foodie adventures, bourbon and traveling wherever life takes him.
